World Maps (current as of the 1st campaign)The history of Penultima is fairly bland -- at least, its history books are. Once you get by all the flowery prose and Thees and Thous, you can condense the entire epic tale down to: "This country was formed when people entered the valley and said 'This looks like a good place.' and stopped and settled down. Things sort of went on from there." Penultima is bordered to the north and east by the Interesting Mountains, and to the southwest by the Uninteresting Mountains. You can enter via Claustophobia Pass, taking care to get through the somewhat paranoid security checks of Penultima's tiny army at the PassGate fortress. Or, you can enter via BigMouth Pass to the south, future site of Greater PassGate (once funding can be found)...
KEY:
...and of course, there's Penultima City itself, which is a wayward stop for wayward travellers who want to spend money and indulge in good local government.
