Hallo there. I'm Stefan Gagne, occasionally going by the alias Twoflower (yep, that one). For twenty years running, I've been writing stories. Here, you can find all of it -- from my earliest efforts to my more modern and polished works.
|Horror, comedy, and drama piled into a bizarre city that reflects the American landscape through a funhouse mirror. Random buildings jammed next to each other without rhyme or reason, roads and hallways to nowhere, individual rooms linked in strange ways. Exploration is a bad thing if you wanna avoid being Picasso'd.||A genre mashup adventure story -- starts with the Faerie Court invading good 'ol America, and only gets crazier from there on out. One of the longest running series I've ever written, complete with retail books, bonus stories, and all sorts of great stuff.||A scifi action comedy reality bending love story, with a twist. How many adjectives can we load in there? Apparently, a lot. Very anime influenced, but deep in a western science fiction background, telling an epic story of a unique multiverse.||Being a sailor suited warrior of love and justice is one of the most miserable, thankless, dangerous, and emotionally crippling jobs ever. A bitter little trip into the darker side of magical girl anime. (Reader discretion advised due to mature content.)|

Actually I've had a very active and varied career creating random things and sticking them online, before I went "professional," for varying definitions of professional. In the interests of completion, I suppose I should link you off to the rest of it....
Everybody goes through a phase where OMG ANIME IS THE COOLEST THING EVAR GOKU COULD BEAT UP EVERYONE. I had mine, as well. I apologize in advance for how bad some of this is. Still, my initial bout with Z-list Internet Celebrity came from anime fandom and it is a fine way to get your feet wet when it comes to writing. Can't knock it too much. The first, and arguably the best work in Slayers to date. What starts as a simple quest to find some long lost magic eventually steamrolls into a battle for the fate of the world, digging deep into the backstory of Slayers (which I mostly made up as I went along, so canon twonks need not apply.) Won a few awards.
Also pioneered my preferred writing method: using the web to publish HTMLized stories, AS I write them so I can collect suggestions and comments as I go. Moved the fanfic experience from dry finalized ASCII in an e-mail to a living, breathing website with a small community of readers.

|Money||Part of a Halloween fanfic challenge, I wrote a story about greed, damnation, the afterlife, torment and Nabiki. Whee!|
|Hiroshi and Daisuke are Dead||...and then I got sick and tired of darkfic, and the conventions that had popped up surrounding it, and decided to bury the bloody hatched once and for all. In a fun way!|

|Magical Troubleshooting Crossover Fighting Tournament BETA||Oh, man... this was crazy. A ton of obscure or underdog characters across lots of animes and games jammed into a tournament, with the prize being the office of God the Almighty. Readers would vote on who would win and who would lose each round. And it led right to...|
|mtcff ULTRA||The one, the only... ULTRA. Your weekly dose of impro-style fighting fun. A continuation of Beta (but you don't have to have read it to enjoy this), we go episodic with plots and rivalries expanding across multiple seasons, shifting and evolving... great stuff. And there's lots of asskicking!|
|Riding Bean: The Quickening||A script for a parody fansub/fandub of the anime "Riding Bean."|
|Dangerous Toys||Another parody script, this time for Bubblegum Crisis 8. Has photography, powered armor, lesbians, fourth wall breakage and very obscure humor.|
In the interests on completion, there's also a ton of non-anime ancient writings of mine which exist on the net. Some of which are not in fact writing at all, but odd attempts at art, music, or film critique. I'm a creative dabbler, and my dabbling drabbles are here for all the world to see. Most of this was crafted in the nineties, before the Internet could properly be considered the Internet...
|A Future We'd Like to See||I did some writing before, in elementary school... but this is what started it all in a more recent sense. Done in sophmore year high school and probably VERY wobbly compared to my recent stuff, some folks still swear by it as my defining work. You make the call.|

We had Netscape 1.1 with the big throbbing N and we LIKED IT! ... anyway, this is a nice museum piece of early '90s college student driven internet humor pages. Unchanged since its release and a neat nostalgia trip.|

|one | thirty and other music||I dabble a bit in layin' out riffs and samples and making something almost listenable. Here's where I archive it, on Acid Planet, a community for amateur musicians. I have one complete album and then some done. Woo!|
|Pong Kombat||Game parody. It's the high school project that would not die. Pong, Mortal Kombat, a blend of the two with a dash of humor and you have one of the most popular things I've ever made. It's 6 years old, I'll warn. I don't think it even works on modern computers anymore.|
|Multiplex Mangler||Sarcastic movie reviews. I take screenshots. I post screenshots. I write up absurd commentary. It's funny. Laugh. Haven't worked on this in years, so consider it archival material.|
|Plastic World||Incredibly terrible art gallery. My early 3-D rendering artwork. I don't do much of this style anymore, so it's neat to see how groovy I made plastic objects look.|
