Drugs

The sheer variety of narcotics available across the multiverse is astounding. You have the fairly tame but popular weeds that grow in I's Land, some of the nastier rainbow-colored snortable powders from Antiparadisia, the mellow feeling of Aquarius coffees, and even the hardcore vein-injected 1/4th chance of death heroins of Urbana's nightlife. That's just the tip of the iceberg, too.

Some realities don't have drug laws, others have long lists of illegal drugs that are illegal to sell and illegal to trade and illegal to use and illegal to look at. Because of spotty legislation and apathy, the trade flourishes and it's generally easy to get hooked up with something legally if you know where to go.

However, RealWare has banned any drug stronger than coffee, and this attitude tends to filter down into other realities as well. Even on worlds where drugs are legal, they are frowned upon socially.
